Any Soldier Charity Golf Tournament

The 17th Annual Any Soldier Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Cheyenne Shadows Golf Course on Ft. Carson. The 4-person scramble event will begin promptly at 8AM. Each year it is the biggest tournament held at Ft. Carson, with a full field of 144 golfers. The majority of golfers are active duty service members and retirees from Fort Carson, Peterson AFB, the United States Air Force Academy, Cheyenne Mountain Air Station and Schreier AFB.

So far over $130,000 has been raised to support our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and the local charity Angels of America’s Fallen. With the return of our troops from overseas, we will be shifting the majority of our monies to Angels of America’s Fallen.

The mission of Angels of America’s Fallen is to help children of our fallen military and first responders develop into strong and successful adults by providing them fun mentoring and developmental activities when they are at their most crucial phase of life. Read more about the charity at their website: www.aoafallen.org

They are a 501c3 charity and their Tax Identification Number is 45-5029479.

The cost to register is $75 and includes cart, range balls, mulligans, Chick-fil-A breakfast sandwich, Dickie’s BBQ lunch and many door prizes. The vehicle for the Hole-in-One contest will be provided by LHM Liberty Toyota and LHM Toyota Colorado Springs.

To enter a team or as a single, contact Bob Marsh at (719) 590-7984 or by e-mail at bandlmarsh@q.com.
